Modern Assyrian History & Culture

This is a subject guide for library resources on Assyrian (Chaldean or Syriac) history and culture.

About the Modern Assyrian Heritage Collection History

The Modern Assyrian Heritage collection began as a gift from Mr. & Mrs. Francis Sarguis. Titles from the library's current collection were integrated with the titles purchased from Mr. Sarguis' donation to Stanislaus State. The collection includes materials documenting all aspects of modern Assyrian history (approximately 400 C.E. through the present) and culture.

The collection will continue to grow via gifts and donations. If you would like to donate additional books, journals, magazines, audio or video recordings (in a playable format), funds for the purchase of additional items, or suggest items to be added to this collection please contact the Library at https://library.csustan.edu/gift_form, 209-667-3234, or
